Market St gets thousands of cars a day and the exhaust and other airborne dirt float around and come to rest on what ever the can find. In this case it was the fire department. The paint from ten years ago was in great shape, no peeling, or chipping, no chalking (coating break down leaves a chalky residue) just dirty. We pressure washed and were able to remove a lot, unfortunately the dirt left stain marks that were into the paint. Going forward we have implemented a pressure washing schedule were every year the structure will be cleaned to prevent staining. |
